Bookkeeper
We are currently seeking a part-time (12-16 hrs/week) Bookkeeper/Office Assistant to become an integral member of our small engineering consulting firm. Position requirements are as follows:
Experience
- 2 years+ experience working in corporate finance.
- A degree in Business preferred.
- Knowledgeable in bookkeeping/accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Payroll for salaried and hourly employees (approx. 10 total), including payroll taxes and filings.
- Monthly reconciliation of business bank account.
- Prepare and analyze periodic finance reports and account reconciliation reports.
- Prepare quarterly tax documents and provide year-end documents to certified public accountant.
- Employee benefit coordination and administration.
- Assist with miscellaneous office administration tasks.
Skills and software
- Proficient in Ajera.
