Washington Building Renovation		Next Project
				This 140,000 S.F. high rise building, located on Capitol Square, provides a highly secure and modern work environment for multiple Commonwealth agencies. Design work included a total replacement of mechanical and electrical systems, and structural analysis and design modification of the 1920s Metropolitan gypsum fireproof floor and roof system. Supported by the Finance Building chilled water plant, the air handing systems have water-side economizers and demand based ventilation air volume control. Special system design work included state-of-the–art communication and monitoring systems for Capitol Square operations.
